This 3-hour trip incorporates 1 hour of narrated sightseeing, discussing the history, the rich and famous, seeing spectacular homes along Singer and Palm Beach Island, Downtown West Palm Beach views and interesting facts, touring a mega yacht marina, Manatee Lagoon and more. Then for the next 1.5 hours, spend time enjoying one of South Florida’s most popular Caribbean-like and year-round, tropically warm sandbars and beach destinations. Peanut Island is where boaters gather to hang out and make memories at this one of a kind tropical oasis, located right in the middle of the Intracoastal Waterway. Stroll along the sandy stretches, bask in the warmth, visit the snorkel lagoon for incredible underwater views, lounge in the warm and refreshing water and have a uniquely amazing time. It’s an absolute must-do for beach aficionados and guarantees a delightful experience. This location is a hit with visitors of all ages! When available, this trip can be extended for $150 per additional hour.
A cooler, ice and bottled water is provided on all our trips. Guests may choose to bring their own soft sided cooler for your favorite non-alcoholic drinks, snacks or food (excluding red wine). Fully tailored to you, you may choose how to use your time, go where you want to go, see what you want to see and do what you want to do! Most trips are split with an hour of Narrated Sightseeing and then at least 1 hour anchored up in the shallow waters just off the beach for swimming and snorkeling (goggles, towels, “oodles of noodles” and sunscreen can be provisioned at no additional cost!
















Sandbar Boat Trips On Sandhill Charters
The boat holds up to 6 guests. A cooler is provided to keep your snacks and beverages cold.
This private cruise to Peanut Island, lasting 3 hours, takes you to one of the most popular sandbars in Palm Beach County. As we set sail, the sandbar is only a few minutes from our dock so guests typically want to take part in a condensed version, lasting about an hour, of our narrated sightseeing cruise before anchoring up at the sandbar for the duration of the charter. During the voyage, keep your eyes peeled for wildlife, including dolphins, turtles, manatees, stingrays, and birds such as pelicans and ospreys.
Upon reaching the sandbar, you’re all set for a delightful time basking in the sunshine. Dive into activities like swimming, snorkeling, hunting for seashells, or simply lounging on a float. Bring your choice of non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, or a picnic, along with your snorkeling gear, floats, and water shoes. Don’t forget the sunblock.
